Sorry folks, for the lack of blog posts lately. Hopefully the fall biking season will change that.
The summers’ heat is not conducive for anything, but with todays’ temps in the 80’s, inspiration is right around the corner.
In the mean time, here’s one of good old Bender, getting a head trim by barber Jake, atop Zion Cycles. He stopped by the shop with the gang from College Cyclery (Sacramento), on their way to Interbike.
Seems like 40 some odd years of autograph seeking/paparazzi have taken their toll on Paul Simon.
Reluctantly, he posed for shot after returning from a ride up the Canyon with his family (Edie Brickell & kids) on some of our rentals.
In no way bike related, but if anyone noticed something missing in the middle of Springdale, it was the El Rio Motel.
Paving the way for the new Sol Foods Market, hopefully open Spring ‘10.

Well, as you all may have noticed, there’s been very little posted to the Zion Cycles blog in the past few weeks. Just waiting for the heat to break and the fall mountain biking weather to arrive. Zion Canyon experienced record breaking temps of 113 for two consecutive days. Shouldn’t be too long before some relief comes.
